julesmysteriet: Just read an article about the misinterpretation of the word feminism. It’s purely this. Wanting equality! I really love Kate Nash! She’s adorable :) I really hate people who say they hate feminism because all they picture are bra-burners. I think most women actually have feminist ideals (ie wanting things like grad school, good career, good paycheck for themselves) but take it for granted because luckily that is somewhat normal. I guess it’s not til we’re in the workplace that a lot of unfairness is still apparent.  (Unless of course we think back to last week’s all male panel on contraception. As Amy Poehler said: REALLY?! Don’t tell me what to do!)
